The Chaos and The Calm is an ongoing body of work I started in 2022, having completed thirty five pieces at the present time.

It is inspired by the events that are happening in the world, all the beauty and horror alike.

The organic figures that interact in the background are overlapped by very defined geometric shapes over it, to reflect how human beings are -in our own way – living in our own world and seeing the rest from a very closed perspective, sometimes not even affected by the suffering of our neighbors.

I made the decision to use paper to emulate the feeling of writing, and to transform the series into a segment of written history.
